DIECAST
"Nothing I Could Say"
This video is the first time Mike & Ian did a straight narrative video without a band performance. The video takes place during the 1930’s and follows a crime scene investigator as he makes a chilling discovery about the people he photographs and himself. The crew spent weeks in pre-production researching the look from that era flipping through crime scene photos and the work of Weegee. The entire production was treated like a film shoot and each shot was storyboarded and all the lighting was diagramed ahead of time. All the hard work paid off. Not only did the video premier on MTV2 but it went on to travel the music video festival circuit. The video stars actors John Hart, Erica Dyer, & Billy Karedes.

Interesting Cameos: On the wall of the dead woman’s room is a picture of her and her husband. The husband was played by production designer Larry Sampson who also played the doctor in the Sick of It All video. The band shows up in the video taking roles as extras and the lead actors body double was played by Mike’s brother Brian Pecci (Barry Goodheart)
